A major tradition during the Lunar New Year is decorating homes with fresh flowers, potted plants, and poetry couplets on red paper, all symbolising good luck. A temporary flower fair springs up at Tap Seac Square during this festive period, to meet the demand for fresh blooms. The market also offers a wide variety of other Lunar New Year-themed items, ranging from hampers to decorative goods. Light snacks are also available.
