To mark the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China and the 25th anniversary of Macao’s return to the motherland, nine of Macao’s most distinguished contemporary artists are taking centre stage in this exhibition, offering a unique visual narrative of the city's past and of its present. The participating artists are Lai Ieng, Lok Hei, Ng Wai Kin, Ung Vai Meng, Lio Man Cheong, Lei Tak Seng, Chan Hin Io, Ao Kuan Kin, and Lam Chi Ian. The nine present in aggregate more than 120 works. They span a range of media, including Chinese inks, oils, watercolours, acrylics, digital illustrations, and photography.
