This year's Expo brings in cutting-edge elements and abundant offerings to enrich spectators' experience. Besides an array of Cloud Series activities, the “Lusofonia Pavilion” will be set up in the Expo for the first time, boasting booths of delicacies and handicrafts as well as performances from Portuguese-speaking countries to underscore the city’s integration of Chinese and Portuguese cultures and historical background. The Palace Museum also marks its debut in the Expo this year, inviting experts in the preservation of ancient architecture to showcase intangible cultural heritage skills onsite like colour painting of ancient architecture. The new “Macao as Destination for Wedding Ceremonies Pavilion” facilitates the development of wedding tourism. The organisers have also invited chefs at local Michelin-starred and Black Pearl award-winning restaurants to demonstrate their culinary skills, while spectators can have a taste of the delicacies prepared by local distinctive food and beverage establishments in the “Gastronomy Pavilion”. The “Macao Culture and Creation Pavilion” and “MAK MAK Pavilion” feature local cultural creative products Spectators with spending of MOP300 or above (up to a maximum of three receipts during the 3-day Expo period) on any products in the Expo are entitled to enter the “MAK MAK Pavilion” Lucky Draw once. For those who make online registration for the Expo, they can redeem a MOP10 consumption certificate by showing the registration QR code to the staff, and the consumption certificate can be counted as part of the spending amount for an entry to the “MAK MAK Pavilion” Lucky Draw.
