Osmosis is a natural movement of water from a solution of low solute concentration to a solution of high solute concentration through a semipermeable membrane. Reverse Osmosis the reverse of the normal Osmosis movement, which is formed by applying external pressure to force the water with high solute concentration to flow to the area with low solute concentration. It results in retaining the solute on one side and leaves the pure water on the other side ready for drink.
